Random Gem Distribution

Hey guys,
I was wondering if our guild as a whole profited from the random gem Distribution bug that took place last week...
I was lucky for once, because I got 500 out of nowhere. That's a lot for a low spender like me. I immediately bought a GCP because I was afraid those gems could be taken away again and got a RLM (already have on at IV) and a SG (new one for me). Considering that it was for free, I'm actually very happy with that...
did someone else get free gems?
and what's your take on how CG is going to try to fix this?

40 gems here, always nice to get something for free. Don't know how they're going to fix it, but hopefully they won't do something rash.

I got 30ish gems. Iam collecting them so that i can open my first gcp.

Not quite sure. Gem count looks a little higher than expected, but nothing substantial. Might just have lost track with PvP gains...

Okay, think I received 70-80. Seems fair as I joined last summer and only bought several GCPs. Since, I've obly bought gems. But I appreciated their efforts because they didn't have to give me anything

I got 39, which is also highly appreciated.
Then I lost 10 gems because I didn't realize that the event ended one hour earlier than usual due to daylight savings in US. Slipped out of my bracket.
Oh, well. CG giveth and stupidity taketh away...
